My friends, some days (weeks) are hard. That has been these days/weeks. In fact, right now I am listening to the musical sound of my toddler screaming herself to sleep. This is the second time we have put her down for the night. And no, this is not normal. She has been sick (woke up last night at 3 a.m. with a high temp.) We took her to the doctor and it's just usual kid cold/viral stuff. I hate that. Mostly I hate when they are so tired that they don't want to sleep.
But I don't want to drown you with my sad baby woes. Just came on to say that I'm alive. I haven't been doing much except for going to meetings (I just figured out that by this Friday I will have had 11 straight days of having a meeting everyday). March...I long to bid thee farewell. And all of your meetings. :)
So if you've emailed me, called me, texted me, messaged me, or even waved at me and I didn't respond, please don't hold me accountable. I'm running on three hours of sleep and meeting overloaded brain. I'll be back to normal operating mode soon.
Things to be blogged about soon: John's photoshoot with the newspaper, my fun outing with my friend Anne, and I'm sure there's something else, but I forgot.
Well to end with good news, John just got back with the Cookies and Cream Ice Cream. All is right with the world again. Good night! (and please tell me you've had days/weeks like this too!)

Believe you're not the only one. I also just finished up my own delicious bowl of Cookies and Cream Icecream. :)
I hope Maddy gets back to her old self again soon, I went to my HOA meeting tonight and when I got home I was informed of Natalie puking then she tossed it again. So I am with you NO more sick kids!
You are not alone, even though it often feels that way in the middle of it. Josh wouldn't sleep last night either. It was after 9 when he normally goes to bed at 7. Chris didn't get home until after 10, so I had just had it!
I'm so glad to hear you are still alive. I love reading your posts. :)
So sorry about Maddy being sick; I hope she gets better soon!
Man! Maddy is sick again?! I feel for ya! And no, I've never had one of those weeks!!! ;)
Hey Jennifer! Since you came out from the blog stocking world so will I. I just had a bad week as well. Was there a full moon out or something? My husband was out of town for a week and I had to survive living with the in law all by myself. Ice cream really isn't it? Can I get an AMEN!!!!!!
Thanks for taking the time to see me even with your busy schedule. Hope things go better soon.
I can relate. Although lately my days have been on the lazy side. I wish I could be busier, but eh, maybe later. I hope you get to become a little lazier soon. :) And I really hope Maddy gets well even sooner!
That museum is about the coolest place on earth. You guys are so lucky!
