Oh Boy Oh Boy Oh Boy

"Life, believe, is not a dream
So dark, as sages say;
Oft, a little morning rain,
Foretells a pleasant day."
~Charlotte Bronte

This morning has been a morning rain sort of morning. We bought something yesterday, only to find out this morning they took out $1500 out of our account by mistake (thereby overdrawing it of course). Also, when I ran out to put a dirty diaper into the outside garbage can, Maddy came behind me in those two seconds, closed the door, and locked me out. A serious amount of tears were shed on both sides of that little pane of glass before I managed to say a little prayer and thirty seconds later Madeline somehow managed to open that door.

But seriously, that is the start of a day that no one would relish. Honey, even though I had a book club meeting last night, and it should have given me enough of a break to take me through many challenges, wouldn't you agree, I deserve a date tonight? Something involving chocolate. And someplace where the doors don't lock. Thanks. :)

Oh,poor baby (both of you!). I'm so sorry for the stress you've experienced thus far today. If you want, I can drive to Kneaders for you. :) I vote for a date night tonight for you and John!

I have lost count the number of times my kids have locked me out, then to hear the little giggles on the other side of the door! That is why we got a keyless entry! I LOVE IT!! just punch in the code and I can get back in.
You are welcome to stash a back up key at our house!
I Hope your day got better and hope you get a date night tonight! We have a movie and your welcome to come over and watch it with us!
Oh Lindy if your heading to kneaders!! hahaa

Oh Caleb locked me out one day. For nearly 45 minutes. It was a Sunday afternoon and Chris had left for a stake meeting. Oh I was trying not to cry. I just prayed, and prayed. He did fine. He would come to the door and ask me if he could watch a show and I tried to tell him he needed to let me in. He didn't get upset until he saw the wind blowing the tree branches and then he became scared and somehow opened it. I was so releaved. I even had brownies in the oven and I was afraid I would bun the house down. Miracels do happen!

Oh, I now keep a spare key in the garage in case it ever happens again.
